We bought a tired cabin in Margaretville in 2022, painted it blue, and spent two winters rebuilding it into the kind of place we wanted to come back to.

Navneet hosts. Everything you'd expect in a thoughtful rental is here — real coffee, starter firewood, a smart lock, cribs if you need them — and a few things you don't expect, like a 6-person Finnish sauna at the edge of the pines and a reading nook that fits two adults and a dog.
